Friends of Robert L. Sovinski, 59, of 125 W. Marion, may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Welsheimer Funeral Home. 521 N. William. where arrangements for services are pending. He died Tuesday at home following an brief illness. He had worked for many years as a bartender at the Loft Restaurant. He was born on Aug. 24, 1922, in South Bend, where he lived his lifetime.

In Kansas City. Mo., he married Ramona Sue Baird. She survives with a daughter, Mrs. Linda Richardson of Kansas City: a son, Mark R. of Bloomington, Ind.; a sister, Mrs. Betty Lile, and a brother. Raymond, both of South Bend; and his mother, Mrs. Clara Sovinski of South Bend.

He was a member of American Legion Post 303, Clay Twp. Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 624, and the Bartenders, Hotel and Cafeteria Employees Local 103.
