EDWARDSBURG - Thelma M. McDaniel, 87, of 71195 Leonard Court, Edwardsburg, MI, formerly of North Liberty, IN, passed away at 3:22 a.m. Nov. 13, 2009, in Elkhart General Hospital after an extended illness. She was a former employee at Woolworth's Dept. Store in South Bend.
She was born Nov. 25, 1921. She is survived by a daughter, Judy Abell of Los Angeles, CA; sons, Larry of Edwardsburg and Dwight of Atlanta, GA; a sister, Sandra of South Bend; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009, in the A. M. Manuel Funeral Home, North Liberty, officiated by Tim Stewart, pastor of the North Liberty Church of Christ. Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
