JEANNE R. (RANSBERGER) WARREN

Jeanne R. Warren Jan. 28, 1923 - Mar. 17, 2014 SOUTH BEND - Jeanne R. Warren, 91, of South Bend, passed away Monday, March 17, 2014, at Sanctuary at St. Paul's, South Bend. Jeanne was born January 28, 1923, in South Bend, to the late Donald B. and Blanche (David) Ransberger.

On May 26, 1951, in South Bend, Jeanne Ransberger married Robert L. Warren Sr., who passed away April 28, 2001. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Donn Ransberger.

Jeanne is survived by her daughter, Patricia J. Warren, of South Bend, son, Robert L. (Jeanne) Warren Jr., of South Bend, and niece, Kristy Barfell, of Bristol, IN.

Jeanne was a 1940 graduate of Central High School and attended St. Mary's College.

She worked for her husband who owned Robert L. Warren Insurance Agency and then for Cohn-Golden Insurance Agency. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, South Bend. Jeanne enjoyed playing golf, bridge, reading, and bingo and was a former member of South Bend Country Club, Morris Park Country Club, Service Guild, and T.O.P.S.

Jeanne's wishes were that there be no visitation or services. Cremation will be held at Welsheimer Crematory. Private family services will be held at a later date.
