Kathleen R. “Katy” Pyle

Nov. 18, 1921 – May 3, 2006

Kathleen R.“Katy”Pyle, 84, of South Bend, died at 10:45 a.m.Wednesday, May 3, in her residence. Ms.Pyle was born November 18, 1921, in Momence, Ill., to the late Homer R.and Hazel Pyle, and lived most of her life in the South Bend area. She is survived by three nieces including Kathi (Kent) Hedman of Arlington, Texas, a nephew, and several great- nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.

Katy was employed for many years as a secretary at the former Indiana Club and was also an office manager for Dr. Groves.She was a graduate of the former Central High School and was active with the alumni association.She was also a member of St.Anthony de Padua Catholic Church.She will always be remembered and missed as a special, caring and loving aunt by her nieces and nephews, and as a special person to her friends.
