Helen Marie Hemmelgarn July 27, 1922 - Jan. 5, 2015 SOUTH BEND - Helen 'Marie' Hemmelgarn was born July 27, 1922, to the late Harbert and Myrtle Nunn. She passed peacefully on Monday, Jan. 5, 2015. She was preceded in death by husband, Louis J. Hemmelgarn; brothers, Harold and Robert Nunn; and sisters, Lois McKight & Marilyn Cenova.
She is survived by children, L. Michael, Kathy & Therese Hemmelgarn; grandchildren, Eric (Kerri) White, Jai Hemmelgarn, Logan and Kenna Wisely; great-grandchildren, Lexis, Daniel, Haley & Brook White, and Calliope Lasmanis; and many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews.
Visitation will be at 10 am followed by a Funeral Service at 11 am on Saturday, Jan.10, 2015, at the St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S Mayflower Rd., South Bend. Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Center for Hospice Care, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, IN 46545; or the Humane Society, 2506 Grape Rd., Mishawaka, IN 46545.
