Maurice E. Laisnez

June 27, 1922 — Dec. 6. 2004

Maurice E. Laisnez, 82, of Indianapolis, formerly of South Bend, passed away December 6, 2004. He was born June 27, 1922, in Fairfield, Iowa, to Cyriel and Mary M. Davos Laisnez. Maurice married Irene H. (Lykowsk) Laisnez on July 5, 1947, in South Bend. She preceded him in death on February 5, 1995.

He was a Mechanical Engineer for Berkel Inc. (LaPorte) for 12 years, retiring in 1982. Maurice was a member of the American Legion in South Bend and was a WWII Navy veteran.

Survivors include daughters, Nancy (Keith) Myers, Hillsdale, MI, and Susan (Jeff) Haas, Martinsville; and five grandchildren. Memorial gifts have been suggested to Donor's favorite charity. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, Indianapolis, is handling arrangements.
