Sidney Eder
Sidney Eder, South Bend, Succumbs to Injuries sustained April 16 in an automobile accident on state road 29, three miles north of Burlington, on the night of April 15 proved fatal to Sidney Eder, 28, South Bend attorney, in St. Joseph's hospital of that city Friday. A broken back caused death. Following the accident. Eder was brought to the Cass county hospital but he was transferred to South Bend In an ambulance the next day.
Mr. Eder, a graduate of Notre Dame and a prominent member of the St. Joseph County Bar association, was hurt when his car skidded on wet pavement after a tire blowout and smashed into an abutment. When the accident occurred Mr. Eder was returning with his sister, Mrs. Maurice Baille and his brother, Samson Eder, both of South Bend, from a visit with their mother, Mrs. Abraham I. Eder who is. ill in a sanitarium at Martinsville.
The funeral was held Saturday afternoon and burial made in the Jewish Orthodox cemetery at Mishawaka.
