Harold Eugene Madaras

Harold E. Madaras, 53, of Rt. 6. Connersville, Ind., died Friday in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, after an illness of several months. He was born Oct. 3. 1920 in South Bend and had lived in Connersville eight years, coming from Michigan. He was an engineer for the Philco Ford Corp. in Connersville.

On July 21, 1944 in Tucson, Ariz., he married the former Helen Brayton. who survives. Also surviving are a son. Terry of Gaylord, Mich.: two daughters. Mrs. Sheryl Daum of Stanwood. Mich.. and Vicki, at home; a brother, Joseph of Three Rivers; his father. Joseph of Culver. and a grandchild.

Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday in Peace Lutheran Church. Connersville, with Rev. Landis Coffman, pastor, officiating. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Friends may call in the Myers Funeral Home. Connersville, after 1 p.m. Sunday and in Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, South Bend, from 2 to 3 p.m. Monday
