Florence M. (Kielton) Zack

March 26, 1921 – Oct.23, 2010 SOUTH BEND — Florence M. Zack, 89, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 6:15 p.m. Saturday, October 23, 2010, in Hospice House. Florence was born on March 26, 1921, in South Bend, IN, to Joseph and Helen (Hanyzewski) Kielton, and was a lifelong resident.She retired after 14 years as the co-owner of the Tic-Toc Party Shop. She had also been employed with the Healthwin Specialized Care Facility for 10 years and the Bendix Corporation for nine years.

In April 1940, in St. Hedwig Church, as Florence M.Kielton, she married Alphonse Zack, who preceded her in death on December 19, 2002. Also preceding her in death were two sisters, Evelyn Kielton, who died as a child, and Sylvery Barrett;and one brother, Dr.Melvyn Kielton.

Survivors include her daughter, Rozanne (Leo) Jaroszewski of Louisville, KY;her son, Randall Zack of South Bend, IN;four grandchildren, Mark Jaroszewski of Toledo, OH, Lisa (David) Naugle of Toledo, OH, Laura Zack of South Bend, IN, and Andrew Zack of South Bend, IN;and four great- grandchildren, Nathaniel, Zachery, Matthew and Emily Rose Naugle, all of Toledo, OH.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m.Friday, October 29, 2010, in St.John the Baptist Church. Entombment will follow at St.Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m.Thursday in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N.Bendix Drive, where a parish Rosary will be prayed at 4:30 p.m.
