Memorial services for Clifton L. Harlan, 68, of 3107 Kettering Drive, who died at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Memorial Hospital, will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at River Park United Methodist Church. Cremation will take place, There will be no visitation. Hollis-Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Harlan retired in 1975 from the Bendix Corp, after 35 years service. He was born Feb. 12, 1919, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.

On Nov. 19, 1941, in South Bend, he married Mary V. Maffitt, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Beverly J. Harlan of Woodside, Calif,; a son, David C. of Dublin, Ohio; three grandchildren; a sister, Eileen Nemeth of Greenwood, Ind.; and two brothers, James Trimble of Boulder, Colo., and Robert Trimble of Williamsville, N.Y.

He was a member of the church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 360, Mishawaka. He was a veteran of World War II. Memorial contributions may be made to the church
