VRABEL — Graveside services for Robert James Vrabel. 50. of Fort Worth, Tex., formerly of South Bend, who died at 5 p.m. Wednesday in Harris Hospital, Fort Worth, of an apparent heart attack. will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Rev. Joel Scholefield. pastor of the Unitarian Church, officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart Fund or the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee of the Jefferson Unitarian Church, Fort Worth. Mr. Vrabel was an aeronautical engineer and a World War II veteran. He was born on May 8, 1922 in South Bend and had lived in Fort Worth 22 years.

Surviving are his widow, Jane; a son, Charles M. of Fort Worth; a daughter, Miss Susan Vrabel of St. Louis, MO.; a brother, Francis of Niles, Mich., and two sisters, Mrs. Lawrence Metcalf of Elkhart, and Mrs. Sidney Schell of Dowagiac.
