Paul E. Stafford

Paul E. Stafford, 75, passed away at 8:25 p.m., Sunday, in Marion Veterans Hospital, Marion, Ind., after an illness. He was born on Aug. 26, 1921, in Lafayette, Ind. He resided in the South Bend area for 30 years.

Mr. Stafford was a retired drafting engineer.

He is survived by a daughter, Susanne Cary of Berrien Springs, Mich.; two sons, Paul Stafford of Traverse City, Mich. and Philip Stafford of Seattle, Wash.; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Evelyn Johnson of South Bend; and two brothers, Henry of South Bend and Bernard of St. Petersberg, Fla.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Thursday, in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St., South. Bend. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may call from 6 to 08 p.m., Wednesday, in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice
