Edward Francis Hosinski

SOUTH BEND - Edward Francis Hosinski, 71, of 2710 Miami St., died at 1:35 p.m. Monday in Memorial Hospital. He retired in 1968 as a fireman with the South Bend Fire Department, following 20 years of service. He also retired in 1988, from Walsh &  Kelly Inc. He was born Oct. 13, 1920, in South Bend and had lived in the area all of his life.

On Sept. 22, 1951, in South Bend, he married Mary Jane Butler. She survives with two daughters, Sue Hosinski and Kerry Hosinski, both of South Bend; sister, Eleanor Emery South Bend; and a brother, Dennis of Michigan City.

He was a member of. St. Matthew Cathedral and Club Green Star. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Matthew Cathedral. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. today in Kaniewski and Sons Funeral Home, where the parish rosary will be said at 4 p.m
