Paul Burdette Barrett

Paul Burdette Barrett, 95, died on Nov. 7, 2006. He was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, to William Lee and Bertha Ellen Barrett on May 30, 1911.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Barrett; brothers, John and Dave Barrett; and son, William Barrett. He was a longtime employee of the Bendix Corp. He was a Christian man who loved his family. He was a wonderful father, grandfather and great-grandfather who was truly loved and will be greatly missed.

He was a resident for many years of South Bend, Indiana, and Lynn Haven, Florida, and spent his last amount of time in Kaufman, Texas.

He is survived by his son, James P. Barrett, and wife, Martha of Bedford, Texas; his daughter, Elaine Jennings, and husband, Dave of Colorado Springs, Colorado; grandchildren, Paula Morley and husband, Mike of Kaufman, Texas, Daniel, William and Andrew Barrett of Glastonbury, Conn., Julia and Frank Hendley of Austin, Texas, Deborah and Mitch Cameron of Greenville, Ohio, and Richard and Page Finn of Flower Mound, Texas. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren, Tyler Sullivan of Kaufman, Texas, Trey and Luke Finn of Flower Mound, Texas, Clay Carter, and Holly and Parker Cameron of Greenville, Ohio.
