Leora B. (Thompson) Moery "Lee"

Leora B. Moery "Lee", age 72, of Hammond passed away at the Meridian Nursing Home in Dyer on Thursday, November 7, 1991. She is survived by her husband James; two daughters, Kathy Larson of Ft. Myers, Florida and Phyllis (Harvey) Rogers of Mesquite, Texas; one son, Ron (Marilyn) Moery of Tinley Park, Illinois; one sister, Josephine Thompson of South Holland; one brother, Thomas Thompson of Fishers, Indiana; four grandchildren, Sarah Larson, Janet and Michelle Moery, Hanah Rogers.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 11, 11:00 a.m. (to lie in state one hour prior to service) at the First United Methodist Church of Hammond with Pastor David Schramm officiating. Interment will take place at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond. Friends may meet with her family at the McCoy Funeral Chapel, 5713 Hohman Ave., Hammond on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Mr. Moery was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hammond-Womens Society of Christian Service. An expression of sympathy may be given to the memorial fund of her church. Special envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
