Joseph T. Paszli

SOUTH BEND Joseph T. Paszli, 76, of Powderhorn Court, died at 6 p.m. Saturday in his home of natural causes. He retired from Bendix Corp. He was born Oct. 7, 1918, and was a lifelong area resident.

On Aug. 24, 1940, in South Bend, he married Evelyn B. Reyniers. She survives with a daughter, Sharon Nowicki of South Bend; a son, Larry of South Bend; four grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren; and two sisters, Irene Wolfe of Hudson Lake and Margaret Homco of Peoria, Ariz.

He was preceded in death by a great-grandchild.

He was a World War II Navy veteran and a member of the South Bend Civic & Democratic Club, St. Stephen's Usher's Club, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9820 and American Legion Post 50, a retired usher from the University of Notre Dame and a volunteer for the College Football Hall of Fame.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednes day in St. Stephen's Catholic Church. Cremation will follow, with burial in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. today in Zahoran Funeral Home, where a rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
