Catherine Lucille (Lord) Waldron

Catherine Lord Waldron, 63, of 1515 Orkney, died at 1:10 am. Thursday in Osteopathic Hospital following an extended illness. She was born April 26, 1919, in South Bend, and lived in St. Louis, Mo., for 40 years, returning to South Bend recently. On Sept. 29, 1940, as Catherine Lord, she married Herbert Waldron, who died Feb. 4, 1982. She is survived by two step-daughters, Mrs. Leona A. Davis and Mrs. Lorena Archambeault, both of South Bend; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Jackson of Arlington, TX., and Mrs. Patricia Heckaman of South Rend; and a brother, Donald Lord of South Bend.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Forest G. flay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood, with Douglas G. Wiggins, reader of First Christian Science Church, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home. She was employed with Blue Cross-Blue Shield Insurance Company in St. Louis for 34 years. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethesda Lutheran Home, Watertown, Wis.
