Dorothy A. Gorzynski, of South Bend, Ind., passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2003.She was born in South Bend to the late Edward and Helen (Nowak) Gorzynski.Ms.Gorzynski retired from St.Joseph Regional Medical Center as a surgical nurse for 35 years.

Surviving are her sister, Jeanne A.Gorzynski of South Bend;her brother, Ray Gorzynski of South Bend;a niece, Elaine (John) Maimone of Ashtabula, Ohio;a nephew, Gery Ray Gorzynski of South Bend;and a great niece, Lea Maimone of Tampa, Fla.;and a great nephew, Michael Maimone of Ashtabula.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM Thursday, June 12, 2003, at the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, Ind., where a rosary will be held at 4 p.m.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m.Friday, June 13, 2003, at St.Matthew Cathedral, with burial to follow in St.Joseph Cemetery.

Ms.Gorzynski was a graduate of Central High School and St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing
