Mary Rita (Donahue) Dutrieux

SOUTH BEND Mary Rita Dutrieux, 70, of Sable Ridge Road, died at 1:50 p.m. Thursday in her home. Mrs. Dutrieux was born Dec. 25, 1919, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.

On May 9, 1942, in South Bend, as Mary Rita Donahue, she married Marion T. Dutrieux. He died April 25, 1988. She is survived by two sons, Joseph C. of South Bend and David T. of Florida; and five grandchildren.

She was a member of Christ Child Society, Ladies of Elks, St. Matthew Cathedral, and a graduate of the former South Bend Central High School and Michiana College.

Services will be at 9 a.m. today in St. Matthew Cathedral. Entombment will be at Riverview Mausoleum. Hickey Funeral Home, 3516 E. Jefferson Blvd., handled arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph County Cancer Society
