Frances R. (Richardson) Anderson

Mrs. Frances R. Anderson, 62. of 5103 Bloomfield. died Wednesday in Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. Mrs. Anderson was a South Bend Public Library employee from 1930 to 1940, retiring from the Torrington Corp. Born on June I2 1913, in Rochester. she had lived here most of her life here, coming from Rochester.

On Feb. 28. 1940, in Indianapolis. she married Glen H. Anderson, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter. Shelley. at home; a son, Richard H. of Defiance, Ohio; three grandchildren. and a brother, Glenn W. Richardson of Harvey, IL.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William. Rev. David Mueller, pastor of the Bethany Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home. She was past president of the Oliver Elementary School Parent-Teacher Association.
