Abigail L. (Mason) Keller

April 21, 1917 - May 21, 2000

Abigail L. Keller, 83, of Topsfield Road, South Bend, Ind., and for many years a resident of Diamond Lake, Cassopolis, Mich., died at 8:15 p.m. on Sunday, May 21, in Regency Place of South Bend. She was born on April 21, 1917, in South Bend, to Nina May (Lewis) and Lee Charles Mason, who both preceded her in death.

She was preceded in death by a brother, John Mason.

On June 7, 1942, in South Bend, as Abigail L. Mason, she married James F. Keller, who also preceded her in death in March 1994. She is survived by three daughters, Susan Boothby of Hartford, Mich., Barbara Keller of Osceola, Ind., and Nancy Mack of Fort Wayne, Ind.; a son, James F. "Fritz" Keller of Madison, Wis.; eight grandchildren, Lesa Higler, Lee, Julie and Jennifer Mack, Katie and Carey Williams, Blaise and Schuyler Keller; four greatgrandchildren; and by a brother, Lewis Mason of Murfreesboro, Tenn.

Mrs. Keller was a homemaker.

Memorial services for Mrs. Keller will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 25, in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William Street. The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial services. Cremation will take place, with burial in South Bend City Cemetery following services
