Grace K. (Brugger) Farrell

SOUTH BEND — Services for Grace Kathryn Farrell, 74, of Tonti Avenue, who died about 2:30 a.m. Wednesday in her home, will be at 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9pm today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in Hickey Funeral Home, 17131 Cleveland Road, where a parish rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. and a wake will be conducted at 8 p.m. by People of Praise. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.

Mrs. Farrell was born Jan. 9, 1917, in South Bend and was a life-long area resident On Oct. 30, 1936, in South Bend, as Grace K. Bragger, she married Thomas Francis Farrell. He died April 22, 1960. She is survived by four daughters, Mary Joann Keller, Maureen F. Farrell, Kathryn A. Miller, and Christine C. Mattasits, all of South Bend; four sons, William H., Patrick M., and Timothy T., all of South Bend, and Rev. Anthony G. Farrell, KHS, of Grinnell, Iowa; 19 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jane Kuzmitz of South Bend.

She was a member of the church, People of Praise and graduated from the former Central High School and Nazareth College, Kalamazoo.
