SOUTH BEND - Lt. Col. Milton Harry Weiss, 79, of Desert Hot Springs, Calif., died Wednesday in Eisenhower Medical Center, Rancho Mirage, Calif. Mr. Weiss retired from the Air Force as a lieutenant colonel after 21 years of service. He was born July 3, 1914, in New York City, and lived in Desert Hot Springs for five years.

He is survived by a daughter, Pamela A. Weiss of Harbor City, Calif.; three sons, Howard of Milan, Italy, Wayne P. of Altadena, Calif., and Michael of Laguna Niguel, Calif.; four grandchildren; two sisters, Lillian Roland of South Bend and Lee Shaffer of Tarzana, Calif.; and three brothers, Sidney of Indianapolis, Seymour Louisville, Ky., and Arthur of Columbia, S.C.

He was a member of Disabled American Veterans and Retired Officers Association.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Dec. 7 in Old Post Chapel, Fort Myer, Va. Burial will be in Arlington (Va.) National Cemetery. Desert Hot Springs Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
