Rose Elizabeth (Pope) Pine

Rose E. Pine, 97, of South Bend, passed away 5:25 am Friday, January 7, 2011 in Millers Merry Manor, Wakarusa, Indiana. Rose was born March 9, 1913 in South Bend, Indiana to Thomas and Elzora (Moore) Pope.

On September 15, 1934 in South Bend, Rose (Pope) married John Pine, her husband of seventy-five years before his passing on November 3, 2009.

Rose is survived by a daughter, Elinor (William) Roberts of New Mexico, granddaughters; Debbie Robbins of Osceola, Judy Bergs of New Mexico, and Emily (Fred) Krajewski of New Mexico, many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Rose was a graduate of South Bend Central High School.
