SGT. RICHARD L. NOBLE

Sergt. Noble, age 19, who was reported missing in action in Germany April 7, was killed that day, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E Noble, 611½ North Main Street, have been notified. He had served overseas with the infantry in the Seventh army since last November. Wearer of the Purple Heart medal, he was wounded Feb. 19 in Germany.

He was graduated from Central High school in 1943 before entering the armed forces in January, 1944.

Surviving besides his parents are two sisters, Patricia and Norma Jeanne, and a brother, Kenneth, all at home.
