Vera B. (Hazen) Herren

Vera B. Herren, 62, of 815 Douglas Road, Mishawaka, died at 12:30. p.m. Thursday in her home after an illness. Mrs. Herren was born June 3, 1925, in Chicago, and had lived in South Bend since 1930, coming from Chicago.

On Oct. 17, 1944, as Vera Hazen, she married John T. Herren, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Carol S. Wasserman of Roselle, Ill.; a son, John D. of Port Lavaca, Texas; two grandchildren; a sister, Betty Johnson of South Bend; and two brothers, Charles K. Hazen of South Bend and John W. Hazen of Burnsville, Minn.

Services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Welsheimer Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road. Cremation will take place at Michiana Crematory. Friends may call two hours before services Sunday at the funeral home. She was a former member of Order of Eastern
