Margaret T. (Zahoran) Solzan Ruszkowski

Margaret T. Ruszkowski, 87, of Crumstown Highway, passed away at 12:15 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 16, in the Regency Place Care Center. Mrs. Ruszkowski was a former vice president and stockholder of the Zahoran Funeral Home. She also had been employed by the St. Joseph County Recorder's Office and the former Meyer's Hardware. Margaret was a member of Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church, its St. Anne Society and the Harvest House.

She was born on March 21, 1913, in Gary, Ind., to Michael and Anna Zahoran. On May 19, 1934, in South Bend, Ind., she married Carl F. Solzan, who died on April 29, 1951. On Feb. 24, 1962, she married Walter Ruszkowski, who survives, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Margaret was also preceded in death by her parents and by two sisters, Dorothy Toth and Frances A. Nowak.
