Gertrude C. Troeger

Gertrude C. Troeger, 65, of 203 S. Holiday, died at 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan 5, 1980, in the Cardinal Nursing Home. following a lengthy illness. She was a former employee of the Studebaker Corp. She was born on March 13, 1914, in South Bend, where she lived all her life. Surviving are five sisters, Mrs. Otto Damerau, Miss Florence Troeger, Miss Margaret Troeger, Mrs. Carl Trippel, and Mrs. Charles Jackson, and a brother, Earl Sr., all of South Bend.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Zion United Church of Christ, with Rev. Donald I. Kaufman, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William. Miss Troeger was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ, to which memorial contributions may be made.
