Hermina M. (Schohl) Berta

SOUTH BEND — Hermina M. Berta, 80, of 152 W. Pokagon St.. died at 5 p.m. Tuesday in Memorial Hospital after an illness. Mrs. Berta was born Oct. 20, 1912, in East Chicago, Ind.

On Nov. 26, 1932, in South Bend, she married Michael T. Berta. He died in January 1968. Surviving are three sons. David C., Donald E. and Frederick D.. all of South Bend; two grandchildren; five great-grand children: and a brother, John L. Schohl of Los Angeles.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Riverview Cemetery Chapel. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. to-day in Welsheimer Funeral Home. 521 N. William St. Memorial contributions may be made to the Center for the Homeless.
