Peggy (Reed) Singler

Word has been received of the death of Mrs. Peggy Reed Singler, 67, of Palo Alto, Calif , formerly of South Bend, who died Aug. 22, 1982 in California after a short illness.

She was born Feb. 12, 1915 in South Bend and lived here for many years. On July 18, 1946, in South Bend, she married John M. Singler DDS, who died in 1970. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mary Young of Palo Alto; four sons, Patrick, Peter, Jeffrey and Jack Jr. all of California; seven grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Ralph Wolfe of Hagerstown, Md.; and a brother, George D. Reed of Clinger Lake, Mich.

Services were conducted in Palo Alto and cremation took place. She was a member of South Bend's Junior League, and attended Carnegie Technical College in Ohio.
