Pauline Plotkin Kaseff

Pauline Plotkin Kaseff died Tuesday, Nov. 9.

She and her husband Louis owned and operated American Hardware & Supply Co. at 1016-18 Virginia Ave., which they founded in 1947, running the business until 1980.

Their son Larry now owns and operates the business.

Mrs. Kaseff was born in South Bend. She was a licensed beautician, practicing in South Bend and Milwaukee before her marriage.

She resided in Indianapolis for 54 years.

Mrs. Kaseff was a member of Congregation Beth-El Zedeck and its Sisterhood, City of Hope, Na'Mat, Hooverwood Guild, National Council of Jewish Women and Hadassah.

Services were Friday, Nov. 12, at Aaron-Ruben-nelson Meridian Hills Mortuary and burial was in Beth-El Zedeck North Cemetery. Rabbi Dennis Sasso officiated.

Survivors include the husband, Louis Kaseff; son, Larry Kaseff; daughter, Jeri Smith; brothers Leo and Herb Plotkin; sisters Harriett Green, Lillian Paley and Bertha Karp, and four grandchildren.
