Idah E. (Palmiter) Gearhart

INDIANAPOLIS - Idah E. Gearhart, 97, of Indianapolis, formerly of Ludington, MI passed away September 29, 2011. She was born July 17, 1914 in South Bend to the late Frank and Florence Hummer Palmiter. Idah married Lloyd J. Gearhart and he preceded her in death on January 18, 1998. She was a member of Ludington United Methodist Church.

Her survivors are son, Lloyd E. Gearhart of Ludington, MI; daughter, Joan (Robert) White of Indianapolis; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by brothers Wayne, George and Robert Palmiter and sister Kathryn Rice.

Services will be 12:00 noon, Monday, October 3 at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park Chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center. www.sin gletonmortuary.com
