OSCEOLA — Miriam M. Rumpf, 78, of 10874 E. Jefferson Road, died at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Hospital, Mishawaka. Mrs. Rumpf as a former Avon Products representative and former employee of Dainty Maid Bakery. She was born Feb. 3, 1914, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.

In 1941, in South Bend. as Miriam Goebel, she married Robert E. Rumpf. He died in 1970.

She is survived by two daughters, Carol A. Grove of Denver and Barbara K. brews of Camarillo, Calif.: four sons, David A. of Osceola, Robert E. Jr. of South Bend, John A. of Mississauga, Ontario, and Charles K. of Coconut Creek, Ha.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren: and sister, Vernice Lee of Windemere Fla. She was a member of New Apostolic Church.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the church. Cremation will take place in Riverview Crematory, South Bend. There will be no visitation. Bubb Funeral Chapel, Mishawaka, is in charge of arrangements.
