Frances Marie (Turner) Farabee

Frances M. Farabee, 63, of 56872. Eastview Road, Osceola, died at 10:30 p.m. Monday in the Midland House, Indianapolis, after a two illness.

She was born on Nov. 9, 1917, in South Bend, and moved to Mishawaka 30 years ago from South Bend. As Frances Turner she married Owen Farabee on Sept. 20, 1940, in South Bend. Surviving besides her husband are a daughter, Mrs. Theodore (Tracy) Anderson of South Bend: two sons, Michael O. Farabee of South Bend and Mark T. Farabee of Bemidji, Minn.; three grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Walter (Martha) Ramenda of South Bend.

Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Warner Funeral Home, Osceola. Arvid Erlandson, a reader with the First Church of Christ, Scientist, will officiate, and cremation will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions can be made to the church.

Mrs. Farabee was a member of the Northern Indiana Artists Club, the Watercolor Club, and the First Church of Christ, Scientist, and had worked at Barnar's Hardware store and the Gallery 100
