Ruth Margaret (Lemons) Kemp

KEMP RUTH M. Age 90, of Naples, died Monday, October 6, 2008. Ruth and her husband, Bob, had lived in Bloomfield Hills, MI and had wintered in Naples for several years before making Naples home in 1992. She was a member of the Wilderness Country Club, Naples, FL, Bloomfield Hills Country Club and the Women's Village Club, Bloomfield Hills, MI. Ruth had many interests, an avid golfer who cherished time with her friends, an animal lover who always had her Labrador retrievers, and a wonderfully talented painter and artist who received numerous offers from The Disney Company to join their art and graphics studio, but she always chose to place family first.

She is the wife of the late Robert D. Kemp and mother of the late Robert D. Kemp, Jr., sister of the late Mary Steffen and Chuck Lemons.

She is survived by two sons: Gregory Mark Kemp and his wife, Kitty of Naples; and Michael Scott Kemp and his wife Gilda of Scottsdale, AZ and her daughter-in-law Stephanie Kemp of Bloomfield Hills, MI. She is also survived by her sister Esther Wright (Bob) of South Bend, IN, as well as three grandchildren; Tracy Hedstrom (Tim), Stephanie Kemp Bluming (Adam), Ginny Biondi (Mike), and eight great-grandchildren.
