Marjorie L (Claeys) Kubiak

SOUTH BEND — Marjorie L. Kubiak, 74, of West Edison Road, died at 8 p.m. Saturday in St. Joseph's Medical Center. Mrs. Kubiak retired in 1984 from St. Joseph County Auditor's Office as a clerk after 31 years of service.  She was born July 10, 1918, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.

On May 3, 1947, in South Rend, as Marjorie Claeys, she married Casimer J. Kubiak. He survives with three daughters. Mary C. Jarze of Mishawaka, and Susan M. Kubiak and Donna J. Kubiak, both of South Bend; and three grandchildren.

She was a member of the Rosary Society of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Kaniewski & Sons Fu-neral Home. where a vigil service will be at 4:30 p.m.
