Hylma May (Little) Bowman

Hylma Mae Bowman, age 94 of Plymouth, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 18, 2018 in the Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home.

Hylma was born on May 9, 1923 in South Bend, Indiana to Oscar and Isa C. (Trobaugh) Little. She married Darrell Keith Bowman June 4, 1949 in St. Joseph County, Indiana. Hylma worked for nearly 24 years in the Marshall County Assessor's Office, Marshall County Commissioner's Office and Marshall County Auditor's Office. She loved to play Euchre with her friends, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Hylma will be greatly missed by those who loved her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Beverly Rowe of Plymouth; also surviving is Hylma's grandson, Aaron T. Rowe of Plymouth and her sister, Marjorie Carrol Anderson of Florida; her step-son, Garry and Cheryl Bowman of Plymouth;

Hylma is preceded in passing by her parents, her son-in-law, Jeff Rowe, her sister, Edyth Evalyn Bushman (Oct 31, 2011), (one other sister?) and her brother; and her step-daughter, Jimmie Lee Bowman.

The Van Gilder Funeral Home is privileged to be entrusted with the arrangements. According to Hylma's wishes there will not be any services at this time.
