Clara M. (Horvath) Evangelisti 

Clara M. Evangelisti, 70, of 1117 S. Taylor St, died about 6:30 a.m. today in St Joseph Hospital after an illness. Mrs.

Evangelisti was bom on June 5, 1918, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident On Dec. 30, 1939, in South Bend, as Clara M. Horvath, she married Marino P. Evangelisti He survives, along with a son, Barri M. Evangelisti of South Bend; eight grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and four sisters, Betty Widman, Anna Vand-er Brugghen, Erma Meyerhoefer, and Agnes Heirman, all of Mishawaka.

Hahns-DeVos Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Mrs. Evangelisti was a member of Daughters of Isabella, Columbian Circle 274, Knights of Columbus Wives Council 553, Helena Rebekah Lodge, South Bend, and St. Matthew Catholic Church, South Bend
