HERBERT J. SMITH

Herbert John Smith June 6, 1927 - May 2, 2014 NEW SMYRNA BEACH, FL - Herbert John Smith 86, of New Smyrna Beach, Florida passed away May 2nd, 2014. Herb is survived by his wife Nancy Jean and his four children, Jennifer, Jay, Julie, and Jeff.

Herb was born in Noble County, Indiana, garaduated from Central High School in South Bend Indiana. Herb served one year in the U.S. Navy as a Seaman First Class, and was honorably discharged. Herb enjoyed traveling, walking on the beach, reading and spending time with his family. Herb will always be missed by family and friends. Visitation will be at Northwest United Methodist Church in South Bend, Indiana on May 17th from 1 -5 pm.
