Edward R. Rogers

Edward R. Rogers Jr., 42, of Canton, Ohio, formerly of South Bend, died of a heart attack Wednesday afternoon, Oct 6, 1965. He was born in South Bend on Oct. 2. 1923, and was graduated from Central High School, the South Bend College of Commerce and Michigan State University, East Lansing. He served with the Navy in World War II.

He was married to Kay Ellis of South Bend in 1946. Surviving are his widow and two daughters, Deborah and Karen, both at home.

An executive of East Ohio Gas Co., he was a member of Calvary Presbyterian, Church, Canton, and the Masonic Lodge.

Services will be held Friday afternoon in Canton and the body will be brought to South Bend for burial Saturday.
