Betty Lou (Schock) Shank

VALPARAISO. IN - FORMERLY. OF NORTH JUDSON, IN • Betty Lou (Schock) Shank, 86, died Friday. December 12, 2003, at the VNA Horten Hospice Center, Valparaiso, Indiana She was born May 11, 1922, in South Bend, Indiana, to the late Edgar F and Helen (Carter) Schenk.

On February 23, 1946, In South Bend, she married Claude W. Shank. Betty was a member of the North Judson United Methodist Church arid the former North Judson Progress Club.

She is survived by two daughters: Kay (Tim) Cummins of North Judson, Jean (Scott) Coleman of Keats, Indiana, four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and two sisters. Pat Clawson arid Nancy Stone, both of South Bend.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude and one grandson, Jonathan Collins.

Services were held Monday. December 15 at the O'Donnell Funeral Home, with Rev. David Mullens officiating. Burial was in the Highland Cemetery, North Judson. Arrangements were made by O'Donnell Funeral Home, Inc.
