Sharon B. Przybysz, 86, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 6:55 a.m. Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at the Center for Hospice Care, Ernestine M. Raclin House in Mishawaka, IN.

She was born on September 1, 1936 to the late Walter and Estelle (Jasinski) Lubaway in South Bend, IN, and was a lifelong area resident.

Sharon graduated in 1954 from Central High School in South Bend, IN. Following graduation, she worked at the former St. Joseph Bank and Trust Company. She later worked at the former Bendix Corporation as a secretary in the Research and Development Department.

On June 14, 1958, as Sharon B. Lubaway, she married her high school sweetheart, William M. Przybysz at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in South Bend, IN. She later became a stay-at-home mother for her children, Randy and Debbie.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, William M. Przybysz of South Bend, IN; daughter, Deborah A. (Daniel) Charles of South Bend, IN; son, William Randall an Peggy (Prawat) Przybysz of South Bend, IN; six grandchildren, Billy Przybysz of South Bend, IN; Samantha (Joel) Parker of McCordsville, IN; James (fiancée Natalie Cleveland) Przybysz of Goshen, IN; Joseph (Emma Bergman) Charles of Fishers, IN; Nicole Charles of Chicago, IL; Nathaniel Minnick and companion, Kenny Walter of North Judson, IN; and two great grandchildren, Sophia and Mason Parker of McCordsville, IN.

Sharon volunteered at St. John The Baptist School throughout her children’s years at the school. She was a member of the School Men's Wives Club, and a Life Member of the South Bend Alumni Association, volunteering at the monthly Lunch Club, and Association trips. She was a very accomplished ice figure skater as a young girl at the Bendix Park ice rink, she was offered an opportunity to audition for the Ice Capades.

She took great pride in her children and grandchildren, attending all their school and sports activities. Sharon was a most caring, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and will be deeply missed by her family.

Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Monday, August 7, 2023 at Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, IN. There will be no service. Private interment will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend, IN. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place.
