Noreen (Dee Dee) Tubbs

Noreen (Dee Dee) Tubbs age 86 died on December 24, 2023. Noreen was Born March 30, 1937 to Nora and Charles Tubbs in So. Bend, Indiana. She graduated from South Bend Central High School in 1955 and was a cheerleader when South Bend Central High School won the 1953 State Basketball Championship. Noreen graduated from the St. Joseph School of Nursing in Lexington Kentucky in 1960. She furthered her education attending the Pennsylvania Hospital School of Nurse Anesthetists in Philadelphia PA in 1964, and received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Chapman University in Orange County, Ca.

Noreen loved to snow ski, scuba dive, playing tennis, and traveling to Europe. Noreen worked at Kaiser Hospital - San Francisco in 1964 and retired from Kaiser Hospital in 2003, and moved to Ashland Oregon the same year. Noreen was an avid fan of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish Football Team.

Noreen was predeceased by her mother, father, brother Dennis Tubbs, and sister Sharla Tubbs.

Noreen is survived by her nephew Brian Luzny whom she adored and loved, his loving wife Thalia, her nephews Elijah, Isaiah, Vince, niece Brianne, and her adorable great niece Shaylee Cornoyer and many cousins. Noreen will be remembered by family and friends for her sense of humor and infectious laugh.

A small funeral was held with her immediate family in Medford Oregon on January 6, 2024.
