Ralph J. Dabrowiak
June 29, 1937 ~ September 19, 2023 (age 86)
Ralph John Dabrowiak, age 86 of South Bend, passed away at Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. Ralph was born June 29, 1937, in South Bend to the late Benedict and Helen (Kuczwara) Dabrowiak. He was a graduate of South Bend Central High School and later served his country honorably in the United States Air Force during the Korean War era before his honorable discharge in February of 1959. On June 7, 1958, he married the former Ms. Denyse Goff in South Bend.
Surviving is his wife of 65 years, Denyse Dabrowiak and their daughters Danielle (Mark) Fries, Lucy (Mark) Dale and Julie Driggers, as well as his grandchildren Elizabeth, Joey and Ethan. Surviving as well is his brother Donald (Mary) Dabrowiak of Tennessee and his sister Frances Rinehart of South Bend. Ralph was preceded in death by his son-in-law John Driggers Jr. and his brother-in-law Lyle Rinehart.
Visitation will be held one hour before the 10:30 am Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, September 25, 2023, at Christ the King Catholic Church, 52473 State Hwy 933, South Bend, IN 46637. Following services, Ralph will be laid to rest in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola where the US Air Force will render Military Honors for his faithful service to our country.
Ralph was employed for many years with Torrington, the Indiana Toll Road and the South Bend School Corporation before his retirement. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and keeping a clean car. He was also a longtime member of Christ the King Catholic Church.
