Kenneth E. Crawford

Kenneth E. Crawford, 48, of 625½ N. St. Joseph, died at 5:50 p.m. Thursday in Fountainview Place following an illness of eight years. He formerly was employed by the Indiana & Michigan Electric Co. Crawford was born on March 8, 1931, in South Bend, and lived here all his life.

Surviving are a daughter, Pamela K. of South Bend; a son, Bruce E. of South Bend; a brother, Ralph Dale of Granger, and his mother, Mrs. LaVerne Crawford of South Bend.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William, with Rev. Vaughn Sprunger, pastor of the Stewart Memorial Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.

Crawford was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean Conflict
