SOUTH BEND - Barbara Ann Wagner (Dresbach) passed away November 30, 2012, in Port Charlotte, Florida. Barbara was born September 28, 1934, in South Bend, IN. She was the daughter of Robert & Elizabeth Dresbach. She graduated from South Bend Central in 1952 and earned her Bachelor of Science from Ball State University in 1989. Barbara settled in Muncie, Indiana, where she worked at Ball State University and married Eugene Wagner, also a South Bend Central graduate. She and Eugene were married in November 1982 and Eugene continues to reside in Florida, where the couple maintained a home later in life.

Barb loved her family deeply and enjoyed spending time with them. She was an amazing, beautiful woman, and was loved by all who knew her. She loved music and theatre. She had a beautiful soprano voice and enjoyed singing as well as dancing. She also loved acting, and performed as well as sang in local theatre groups in Muncie and Venice, Florida. One of her most memorable performances was portraying Linda Loman in Arthur Miller's "Death of a Salesman."

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth & Robert Dresbach. She is survived by her children, Butch (Cinda) Swinsick of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Mark Swinsick of Muncie, Indiana, and Kathy (Swinsick) & Kevin Mace of North Port, Florida; her sister, Marilyn, and brother, John (Joellen) Dresbach; as well as her grandchildren, Justin Swinsick, Brandon Swinsick, Brynn (Swinsick) Koster, K.J. Mace and Kelsey Mace. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
