H. Joyce (Thomas) Frick

Feb. 13, 1933 - April 28, 2005

H. Joyce Frick, 72, of Walkerton, Indiana, passed away Thursday morning April 28, 2005, in Our Lady of Peace Hospital, South Bend.

Born in South Bend February 13, 1933, to the late Stanley and Helen (Uhl) Thomas and stepfather, Dale Connet. On June 29, 1952, she married Raymond D. Frick, who preceded her in 1993.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Coleen Tomes (Michael Sr.) of New Carlisle, IN, Colette Proctor (Sunset) of French Lick, IN; sons Calvin L. (Deborah) Frick of Walkerton, IN, Kevin G. (Brenda Yeo) Frick and Kirk B. (Susan) Frick, both of Lakeville, IN; grandchildren, Sean and Michael Jr. Tomes, Brandon, Brooks, and Brock Proctor, Larry, Pierce, Grant and Bailey Frick; great-grandchildren, Sway and Raymond tomes, and Hannah Proctor, and her extended grandchildren, Shannon Gadacz and Jackie Rynearson. She is also survived by her sisters, Dolores and Clarence Frick of South Bend, Marilyn and Dean Long of Bremen, IN; and stepsister, Karen and Ron Williams of Mishawaka, IN.

Mrs. Frick was a member of the Apostolic Lighthouse Church, enjoyed camping and belonged to the Campers Roost of Lake Cook in Plymouth. She was a league bowler for many years at Chippewa Bowl and she loved her children, grandchildren and did not know a stranger. She will be remembered for her upbeat attitude and abilities.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, May 1, 2005 in the Welsheimer Family Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. with Pastor Clarence Frick officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may call in the Funeral home today from 2 to 6 p.m.
