SOUTH BEND Memorial services for Emery J. Retek, 64, of Ryer Street, who died at 9:15 pm Monday in SL Josephs Medical Center, will be at 10 am Friday in SL John the Baptist Catholic Church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
There will be no visitation. Kaniewski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Retek retired in 1978 from the City of South Bend in the traffic and sign shop as a foreman after 23 years of service.
He was born Nov. 28, 1930, in South Bend On April 19, 1952, in South Bend he married Florence A. Rajski. She survives with a daughter, Denise L. Cousins of South Bend; two grandchildren; a sister, Anita Sulok of South Bend; and a brother, Rudolp of South Bend He was a member of the church and a veteran of the Vietnam War
