Leonard Joseph Jozwiak
Leonard Joseph Jozwiak died on February 26, 2018 at home of natural causes. He is survived by his three children: Kevin (Laura) Jozwiak, Margy (Jerry) Macri, Jim (Shawn) Jozwiak and twelve grandchildren: Heather, Heidi, Rebecca, Sarah, Shawn, David, Paul, Gerard, Jacob, Jonathon, Kendra and Alan. He was preceded in death by his four siblings: Marion Jozwiak, Dorothy Burzynski, Ruth Knapp and Jerry Jozwiak.
Memorial Mass to honor Leonard will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 52553 Fir Road, Granger, Indiana on Thursday, March 1 at 10:00am. Rev. Msgr William C. Schooler will officiate. Family and friends may come to pay their respects from 9:00-10:00am prior to Mass.
Leonard enlisted in the Marine Corps and served as a sergeant in the Korean War. He worked and then eventually owned Globe Engineering machine shop in South Bend, Indiana. His hobbies and interests included golf, fishing, tennis, wood working, craftsmanship, home improvement and all outdoor activities. He served as a Boy Scout master, Clay JBA baseball coach, and Indian Guides leader. He was devoted to his children, his dogs, and his closest friends. His cheerful attitude and love of life will be missed by all.
