Dolores D. (Smith) Wolf
Dolores D. Wolf, 94, of South Bend, passed away on Thursday April 4, 2024 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend. She was born on January 20, 1930, in Glasgow, KY, to the late Walter W. and Bessie W. (Atwood) Smith. She graduated from Central High School in January 1948.
Dolores was married to Robert S. Wolf on February 27, 1948, in South Bend. They were married for 61 years when Robert passed away on July 31, 2009. She is survived by her son, John C. (Charlotte) Wolf of South Bend, six grandchildren: Kerith (Allen) Schaefer of Chicago, IL, Bonnie (Ryan) Spindler of Princeton, IN, Amanda Wolf of Mishawaka, IN, Sebastian (Brittany) Wolf of LaGrange, IN, Charmaine Crabaugh of Bridgman, MI and Jasmine (Justin) Sickels of Glennie, MI and their two sons, J.J. and Ezra.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Kathy Lynn Wolf on December 27, 1954 and a son Richard Wolf in 2018.
Dolores retired in 1992 from Cardiothoracic Surgery of South Bend. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in South Bend.
A memorial service for Dolores will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday April 6, 2024 in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, where friends may visit for one hour prior to the service. To send online condolences, please visit www.kaniewski.com.
